Postpartum Care for New Families
Practical, judgment-free help in the weeks after a baby comes home, so parents can recover and bond instead of running on empty.
Welcoming a new baby is joyful and disorienting at the same time. The visitors stop coming, the meals run out, and suddenly two exhausted people are figuring it out alone at three in the morning.
Our postpartum caregivers offer practical assistance and a calm, experienced presence. That means help with newborn care routines, light housekeeping, meals, and support for a mother who is still recovering. Not advice you did not ask for, just hands where they are needed.
This is nonmedical support. We are not midwives or lactation consultants, and we do not replace your medical providers. We are the help that lets you rest, shower, eat a real meal, and hold your baby without a to-do list running in your head.
Questions About Postpartum Care
Is this the same as a night nurse or doula?
No. Del Rio Care Group provides nonmedical postpartum support: practical help around the home, with the baby, and with older children. We do not provide clinical care, lactation consulting, or birth support.
Can you come overnight?
Yes. Overnight support is one of the most requested arrangements, because sleep is usually what new parents need most.
How long do families usually use postpartum care?
Commonly the first few weeks to a few months, and it often tapers as the household finds its rhythm. There is no minimum commitment.
Will you help with our older children too?
Yes. Keeping siblings occupied and on routine is a real part of the job, and it is often what helps the whole house settle.
