I was twelve years old the first time I helped care for someone who needed total care.

I started Del Rio Care Group because I understand that caring for a loved one can be one of the most rewarding, but also one of the most difficult, experiences a family can face. Families sometimes need a break, a helping hand, and someone who understands that every person deserves patience, dignity, compassion, and respect, especially when they are going through changes in their life.

My connection to caregiving began when I was just 12 years old. I remember trying to help care for a loved one who needed total care. I also remember seeing that not everyone wanted to be involved, or understood what that person needed. At that young age, I remember thinking, this is the time when everyone should come together and support one another.

That experience stayed with me. As I grew older, I realized that caring for someone is not simply about being willing to help. It takes patience, compassion, understanding, communication, and different skills to provide the kind of care a person truly needs and deserves.

That is what makes Del Rio Care Group different. We believe in person-centered care. We take the time to understand the individual, not just their needs, but who they are, what is important to them, and what makes them feel safe, respected, and valued.

Our goal is also to support the entire family. We understand that caregivers need a break, families need reassurance, and loved ones deserve to receive care from people who genuinely care about their well-being.

Del Rio Care Group was built from a personal experience and a simple belief: everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, patience, and respect. We are here to provide support when families need it most, and to make sure their loved ones are not forgotten, overlooked, or treated as just another person receiving care.
